Scholarships

Pioneer Garden Club of Ocala, Inc. offers $500 scholarships to Marion County public or private high school students who plan and plan to attend a college or university. The student must major in  Ecology, Horticulture, Landscape Design, Conservation, Botany, Forestry, or Marine Biology. Priority consideration will be given to students attending Florida colleges/universities. Students planning to attend out of state colleges/universities will not be excluded when all other criteria are appropriate.

Applicants must have a “B” or better average to be eligible to apply for these scholarships.  If Interested, get your application in by April.   

Recently, we proudly awarded three scholarships at the Evening of Excellence Awards Ceremony for Marion County Students. Thanks to our community support for our different events such as the annual Christmas sale of poinsettias.
